ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- AGE LIMIT
For admission to a National Trade Certificate Course, the candidate should have attained age of 14 years but should not have attained the age of 40 years on 1 August of the year of admission.
- FITNESS
The candidate should be mentally and physically fit and should meet the minimum physical standards prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Rajasthan.The candidate should not be suffering from any infectious or contagious disease or any physical deficiency or deformity, which makes him unsuitable for the branch of trade he wishes to joins.A Medical Certificate of fitness in respect of both (a) & (b) above is required along with the admission application form. Candidate will be removed from the roll of the Institute even if a disease/deficiency deformity covered under (b) comes to the notice of the Institute at any subsequent date after admission.The Industrial training need hard work during the training & after the training trainee should ready for all type maintenance, neatness & hard work. So Candidate should determine before Subunit the admission form that she/he is willing of Vocational training and want to accept the training as self employment.The Candidate should note that there is regular hard work for 6 hours in a day in I.T.C. & No Summer & long Vacations. - Minimum Qualifications

1. Admission are made every year normally in July/August specific dates are fixed annually in accordance with the academic/training course schedules issued by the Directorate, and are indicated on the Admission Application Form.
2. Admission to certificate course for all types of seats are made on the basis of merit as explained elsewhere, subject to priorities/preferences as specified in related clauses by the Institute.
3. A candidate seeking admission to any course of training must get his/her name registered by submitting a duly completed 'REGISTRATION & ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM' prescribed by the Institute and enclosed with this Prospectus, latest by the date specified on the form along with necessary documents asked for, with a Registration & Application Processing Fee of Rs. 250/-
The Registration & Application Processing Fee is Non-refundable and Payment of this fee does not guarantee admission, nor does it entitle a candidate claim admission even if he meets the minimum requirements for admission. Only one form is required to fill in for consideration of admission to all courses offered by the Institute.
Incomplete form or forms received after the specified date will be rejected and the fee will be forfeited. The institute does not acknowledge receipt of the forms separately. If acknowledgement is desired the forms should be sent by Registered A/D.
4. The procedure, norms, priorities and preference under which the selection system operates are explained hereafter. These are, however only indicative of the process and cannot be challenged legally or otherwise.
5. All forms received in the Institute are scrutinized and processed by the Admission Selection Committee after the last date of receipt of forms. Candidate whose forms are found in order and who meet the minimum requirements are then listed in order of merit as explained under "Selection" at the appropriate place for interviews.
6. The lists of selected candidate after interview are displayed on the Institute notice board immediately after selection is completed for all seats. All selected candidate MUST DEPOSIT NECESSARY ADMISSION & OTHER FEES on the SAME DAY (the day of selection) failing which the name of the candidate is deleted and the seat offered to the next candidate on the merit list.
7. A candidate who is admitted to any course in the institute must join within 3 days of starting classes. In case he/she fails to join his/her name will be deleted and all fees and Caution Money will be forfeited.
8. The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason whatsoever, irrespective of his meeting the other requirements for admission.
9. The Institute does not charge any Donation or Captivation for admission and impresses strict penalties for any such attempt (demand offer/payment) by any person. Consequently, if a candidate tries to secure or secures admission by paying any money to any person, his name will be removed from the rolls of the Institute even if this fact become known to any subsequent date.

ADMISSION SELECTION PRIORITIES & RESERVATION
1. Subject to the priorities listed there under, admission will be made on the basis of merit, for which purpose the Admission Committee will prepare merit lists separately for various priorities. The merit lists will be based on:
i) Percentage of marks in the qualifying examination or any higher public examination in relevant subjects, whichever higher.
ii) Marks of any aptitude test that may be given at the discretion of the committee, or interview in lieu thereof.
iii) The Committee will also determine the quantum of weight age to be given to higher qualifications in relevant subjects, provided such examination has been passed with at least 50% marks and add the same to the credit of a candidate to determine place on the merit list.
iv) Admission to various categories of seats will be based on separate specific merit lists. However, the allotment of trade will be governed by overall merit priority.
2. Candidate who has passed qualifying or higher examination from Institutions in Rajasthan will be given priority in admission.
3. The following priorities will apply to admission to Certificate Course.
a) Candidates from the own district.
b) Candidate from other districts of Rajasthan.
c) Candidate from other states of India.
4. For the remaining seats taken together merit list will be drawn subject to the provision. That as far as possible candidates from School will be accommodated. However, allotment of various trades will be according to priority number on the lists and the candidates’ preferences.
5. Notwithstanding the provisions as above the Admission Committee may fix minimum percentage makes for admission to various trades with a view to ensure proper distribution of candidates in all trades.
6. The management reserves the right to nominate 3 candidates in each trade irrespective of priorities or merit as determined above, subject to the condition that they meet the norms fixed by the Admission Committee.
7. In accordance with the rules of the Directorate of Technical Education. The Institute may also admit supernumerary candidates, to provide for any possible dropouts, to the limit of 25% of authorized seats.
8. In all matters relating to selection/admission and in the matter of interpretation of all above mentioned clauses, the decision of the Principal / Managing Committee will be final and binding on all concerned.
